The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team is a dynamic and skilled group responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure. We play a crucial role in creating efficient and automated solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and security. Our team collaborates closely, leveraging expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, cloud-native technologies, and networking configurations to optimize our cloud environment.

Get to know the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Manager who will lead and inspire a team of talented engineers to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. In this role, you will take ownership of the team’s technical direction, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Your focus will be driving automation, ensuring best practices in infrastructure management, and aligning team efforts with organizational goals. Strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and hands-on technical expertise are essential for success in this role.
The Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead the team in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Oversee the adoption and application of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to standardize and streamline infrastructure management.
- Guide the team in optimizing networking configurations to ensure robust connectivity and security.
- Take responsibility for maintaining high availability, reliability, and performance across all cloud systems.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
The Must-Haves
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems and capabilities.
- A strong drive to lead automation efforts, leveraging scripting and tooling to optimize infrastructure efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and a track record of implementing them effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in networking configurations, including VPNs, subnets, and load balancing, with a focus on designing secure and scalable solutions.
- Solid knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
- Strategic experience in capacity planning, cost analysis, and budgeting for cloud infrastructure, enabling efficient resource utilization.
- A proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and driving innovation.
