Get to Know the Team

We are the pioneer marketing team contributing to the exciting growth of Cambodia and Myanmar, witnessing first-hand in the making of everyday essential services more accessible to the masses, safely and securely. We build the Grab brand through brand and promotional campaigns that persuade, excite and build brand loyalty among users and identifying and strengthening strategic opportunities with cross-departmental teams and external partnerships.

Get to Know the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Director to join our team in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. You will report to the Head, Marketing of Expansion Region, and lead the creative vision for Grab's visual communications across Cambodia and Myanmar, shaping our brand identity and driving impactful design solutions.

You will be based onsite at our Phnom Penh office in Cambodia.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Provide creative direction and feedback, aligning work with the brand's objective and goals.
  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Lead and guide the team in generating insightful and engaging concept, developing visual content across digital, print, and multimedia platforms.
  • Apply the brand identity in innovative ways while maintaining consistency.
  • Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating creative rationale and incorporating feedback.
  • Manage projects and ensure deadlines are met with deliverables of high quality.
  • Stay updated and share knowledge on industry trends and best practices to help the team grow creatively.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and other departments for cohesive visual communication, as the main point of contact.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within an agency or in-house team.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing art and visual projects with expertise in visual storytelling.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Experience with delivering quality marketing messages across all communications channels.
  • Fluency in English and Khmer, both written and oral, for collaboration with country and regional teams, and other stakeholders.
