Get to Know the Team

This function operates within the Regional Operations Center of Excellence, primarily focusing on the intricate backend services for driver partners along with aspects of merchant vendor management.

Get to Know the Role

The Driver Payment Operations Specialist will join our Center of Excellence team, ensuring that our network of driver partners are paid. This relatively junior role is crucial for maintaining the satisfaction and loyalty of our driver partners across Southeast Asia.

It will be an individual contributor role and you'll report directly to the Driver Operations Manager - Regional Center of Excellence. This is a hybrid role, where you'll need to travel to our Ortigas office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • You will oversee the daily processing of driver payments, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and bonuses. Address any payment discrepancies promptly to maintain trust and transparency with our driver partners.
  • You will manage the payment system to ensure it operates smoothly, updating records, and handling any system issues that may affect payment processing.
  • You will ensure that all payment processes comply with local regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits to identify and rectify any discrepancies or inefficiencies in the payment process.
  • You will be the primary contact for driver partners regarding payment inquiries and issues.
  • You will create regular reports on payment activities, highlighting trends, issues, and insights. With the use data, you will recommend improvements in the payment process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • You will work with finance, operations, and customer service teams to refine payment processes and resolve any cross-departmental issues that may affect payments.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of experience in payment processing, finance operations, or a similar role.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and database management, with the ability to manage large datasets.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in Southeast Asia is desirable.
