The Merchant Strategy Team is now finding a teammate to join our young motivated team on this rocketship with the mission to empower merchants with economic opportunities while making lives easier for all Thais. Our team operates with consumer centricity,, and carefulness. As a member of the team, you will shape the future of Grabfood. You will have a chance to and from time to time while overseeing strategic plans with close interaction with top management.
Get to know the role:
As a Merchant Empowerment Lead, you will help shape the future of Grabfood. This is a new role within our organization, reflecting our commitment to improve and grow. Your primary responsibility will be to create strategic programs that strengthen the partnership between Grab and our merchants throughout Thailand. As a leader of the projects, you will establish this role, overseeing all aspects of business identification, strategy, product development, cooperation, and execution. You will report to Manager, Merchant Strategy.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
You will:
- Business Identification: Gather information on both qualitative and quantitative fronts and identify opportunities to grow the business. Learn and share findings with peers.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with teams across the organization to develop projects aimed at driving GrabFood's growth. This may involve brainstorming sessions, strategy meetings, and regular check-ins to ensure agreement and progress.
- Project Execution: Oversee the execution of these projects, prioritizing the impacts and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined goals. This will require project management skills, including task delegation, timeline management, and resource allocation.
- Mentorship: Guide and support junior team members, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
What Skills You will Need
To perform these tasks, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years experience in project management, business analyst, business development or equivalent role
- Capability to organize and integrate overarching plan into project-related
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide win-win solutions for team members
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with teams
- Have a competitive edge and succeed in a team environment
- Having an experience in managing a team
