Get to know our Team:

The Singapore Commercial team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. The team grows and manages Enterprise GrabMart accounts and FMCG businesses. Ensuring close partnership with these merchants and partners, we develop plans and strategies to grow their sales and meet their business needs, across the different services in Grab such as Express, Pay, and Ads.

Get to know the Role:

You will be reporting to the Senior Merchant Account Manager in a hybrid work arrangement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Build business relationships with existing and potential new GrabMart merchants and FMCG partners to drive their growth
  • Lead all elements of account management, including business identification, business development strategy, partner negotiation, daily account management, and execution of key initiatives
  • Enable accounts' growth, measured by deliveries, GMV and revenue
  • Form deeper relationships with accounts through collaboration in other Grab verticals such as GrabPay, GrabAds and GrabExpress

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Collaborate with the Mart & FMCG Account Management Lead/Head of Commercial on individual accounts' business development strategies.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
  • Achieve account growth measured by deliveries and GMV, ensuring partners excel at the platform.
  • Engage with accounts to understand their needs, concerns, and business goals.
  • Analyze data and develop plans to increase revenue/profitability for your portfolio.
  • Work across departments to tailor account-specific needs (e.g., customized reporting, marketing support, integrations, product).
  • Collaborate with merchants and operations teams to develop joint business plans, conduct regular business reviews, and pitch strategic plans.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ experience years in sales, Business Development/Partnerships, or a similar role; experience handling key accounts and strategic partnerships in FMCG or retail
  • You will have experience providing comprehensive solutions for customer needs.
  • You are comfortable managing data and performing analysis to solve business problems.
  • You will have experience collaborating across internal and external teams
