Get to Know The Role
We are seeking a mature and experienced Backend Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers. You will report into the Senior Software Engineering Manager and be based onsite in Beijing.This role requires a dynamic and collaborative individual who can oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our software systems while ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
The Critical Tasks You will Perform
You will:
- Architect, design, and build scalable backend systems using microservices architecture.
- Scope technical requirements and identify suitable technology solutions for new projects.
- Integrate new systems with existing platforms and ensure interoperability.
- Serve as a technical leader, providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with technical leads from other teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Lead and influence hiring decisions and foster an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
What Skills You will Need
- Backend Software Architecture: At least 7 years of experience in designing and implementing scalable architecture using microservices.
- Performance and Scalability: Advanced knowledge in building high-performance systems suitable for enterprise environments.
- Full System Design: Experience in independent full systems design, including requirements gathering, technical specifications, and coding.
- Technical Leadership: Proven experience in a managerial role with demonstrated ability to lead technical teams.
- Cloud Services: Proficiency in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and applications.
- International Collaboration: Experience in successfully working with international teams and leading collaborative projects.
