Job Description

A Day in the Life

No two days are ever the same in the life of a B2B marketer at Grab. We drive growth and adoption across Southeast Asia for Grab’s portfolio of B2B solutions - GrabAds, Grab For Business, and GrabGifts Digital Vouchers, and GrabMaps.

This role drives growth among large agencies and advertisers on behalf of GrabAds, Grab’s fast-growing advertising solution. As Growth Marketer:

  • One day you’ll be meeting with speakers to develop and rehearse panel questions for an exclusive networking and thought leadership event with CMOs. The next you’ll be prepping a presentation on our growth strategy to present to Grab C-suite.

  • The next week, you’ll be proposing new ways to boost deal size among enterprise merchant advertisers in the Philippines, before meeting with sales leadership to draft a new narrative to capture sales from telcos.

  • You might be meeting with our product management team to craft a launch strategy for all-new ad formats in the morning, and meeting with our analytics and research teams to develop an insights report targeted to key verticals in the afternoon.

  • You are the kind of person that enjoys learning and experimentation, and juggles complexity and ambiguity well. You feel a strong sense of ownership and you’re always on top of timelines, budgets, and keeping everyone honest and running to schedule. And, you’re analytical and comfortable working with data.

  • You’re charming as hell when you need to be. But you’re no pushover: you’re a strict school teacher when the situation calls for it.

Get to know the role

This role is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies to drive revenue among large advertisers and agencies for GrabAds across the Southeast Asian region. You’ll collaborate with other B2B marketing functions such as PR, performance marketing, field marketing and events, and content. You’ll also collaborate with key regional and in-country sales and business stakeholders, and manage our relationship with external vendors and industry organizations.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Identifying new sources of growth for GrabAds; developing, advocating for and implementing growth strategies and campaigns to drive revenue among large advertisers and agencies across Southeast Asia

  • Collaborating with various marketing functions such as PR, marketing analytics, performance marketing, field marketing and events, and content to execute campaigns that achieve growth

  • Collaborating with sales leadership to draft new sales strategies and narratives; crafting advertiser-facing launch plans for new ad formats in collaboration with business and product teams

  • Managing timelines and budgets to ensure projects run to schedule to deliver timely impact

  • Building relationships with key regional and in-country sales and business stakeholders to create programs that support their business objectives

Qualifications

The must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English

  • Strong analytical skillset; comfortable working with data

  • At least 8-12 years of marketing experience in B2B or B2C roles

  • Self-starter who loves learning, able to learn and pick up new capabilities fast

  • Technically curious, good with numbers, analytical minded and possesses great problem-solving skills
