Job Description
Get to know the role
The Partner Training Skills Manager drives the development and implementation of skills, training solutions and interventions to achieve business growth and transformation.
Leads research on industry landscape and market trends, including liaising with various stakeholders within and beyond Grab, to understand critical skills requirements, project future skills demand and business objectives;
Diagnoses the skills gaps and needs and identify measurements of the success of the network;
Formulates a training needs analysis plan by identifying skills and training opportunities, reviewing existing skills and training solutions and interventions, sourcing for new and/or developing bespoke skills and training solutions and interventions to address the needs of industry and Grab’s business verticals;
Leverages Skills Frameworks and relevant SkillsFuture resources in creating the skills and training solutions and interventions;
Develops an implementation plan and organises the participation of Partners in the network;
Manages and fosters relationships with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable implementation;
Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the skills and training solutions and interventions and fine-tune the long-term implementation plan.
The Day-to-Day Activities
Engage key stakeholders from various business Verticals to identify training collaboration opportunities and problem solve issues that may arise;
Curate and propose training interventions and development for potential ad-hoc projects;
Develop narratives to communicate, influence and promote the value of all training projects and their initiatives;
Work closely with the Training team and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and quality of the various projects;
Attend business meetings with existing and potential training partners or regulatory bodies;
Provide regular updates to the stakeholders;
Assist the department in the daily operations, as and when required;
Manage and execute other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications
The Must-Haves
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree; in Business;
Experience and knowledge in the F&B sector;
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Learning & Development Role, including project management;
Certification in ACTA/ACLP
Strong communication and presentation skills;
Excellent notetaking and writing skills;
Self-starter and an independent worker, who is passionate about helping others develop; and
Able to work well with different teams
Able to work in a fast pace and agile environment
The Nice-to-Haves
Business Development or Marketing experience;
DACE/DDDLP certification
