Job Description

Get to know the role

• The Partner Training Skills Manager drives the development and implementation of skills, training solutions and interventions to achieve business growth and transformation.

• Leads research on industry landscape and market trends, including liaising with various stakeholders within and beyond Grab, to understand critical skills requirements, project future skills demand and business objectives;

• Diagnoses the skills gaps and needs and identify measurements of the success of the network;

• Formulates a training needs analysis plan by identifying skills and training opportunities, reviewing existing skills and training solutions and interventions, sourcing for new and/or developing bespoke skills and training solutions and interventions to address the needs of industry and Grab’s business verticals;

• Leverages Skills Frameworks and relevant SkillsFuture resources in creating the skills and training solutions and interventions;

• Develops an implementation plan and organises the participation of Partners in the network;

• Manages and fosters relationships with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective and sustainable implementation;

• Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the skills and training solutions and interventions and fine-tune the long-term implementation plan.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Engage key stakeholders from various business Verticals to identify training collaboration opportunities and problem solve issues that may arise;

• Curate and propose training interventions and development for potential ad-hoc projects;

• Develop narratives to communicate, influence and promote the value of all training projects and their initiatives;

• Work closely with the Training team and stakeholders to ensure the smooth running and quality of the various projects;

• Attend business meetings with existing and potential training partners or regulatory bodies;

• Provide regular updates to the stakeholders;

• Assist the department in the daily operations, as and when required;

• Manage and execute other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications

The Must-Haves

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree; in Business;

• Experience and knowledge in the F&B sector;

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Learning & Development Role, including project management;

• Certification in ACTA/ACLP

• Strong communication and presentation skills;

• Excellent notetaking and writing skills;

• Self-starter and an independent worker, who is passionate about helping others develop; and

• Able to work well with different teams

• Able to work in a fast pace and agile environment

The Nice-to-Haves

• Business Development or Marketing experience;

• DACE/DDDLP certification
