The day-to-day activities:

  • Strategic Planning: Leverage market performance metrics, local insights and user research to identify key gaps and/or opportunities in user growth for your markets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize interventions and design growth plans to achieve country targets.
  • Stakeholder management: Maintain frequent and open communication with country teams, serving as the key bridge between local and regional teams. Ensure local business needs are addressed and regional learnings are shared with the local teams.

  • Execution Excellence: Lead the execution of growth experiments from concept to implementation, working closely with Marketing and Operations teams. Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines and resource allocation. Drive post-mortem analysis to fine-tune / scale experiments.

  • Performance monitoring: Routinely monitor key growth indicators to assess health across the consumer funnel. Drive root cause analysis to pinpoint challenges and iteratively refine growth plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

  • Continuous Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within your team. Encourage creative thinking and risk-taking to drive breakthrough growth solutions.

Qualifications

The must-haves:

  • 4-6 years of experience in strategy development / growth marketing / product management or related roles, preferably in a tech company or startup environment

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to frame key analyses and stress-test results in order to derive actionable insights from data and market trends

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior management and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Proven track record of being self-driven and proactive, taking initiative to drive projects forward without constant supervision and achieving measurable results

  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity, adapting to rapid changes and shifts in direction

  • Has strong motivation to continuously seek opportunities for growth and innovation

  • Experience in supervising a small team, with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and provide right level of direction based on supervisee’s tenure
