Get to Know the Role
As a Fullstack Engineer with our Techops Development team, you'll be in the vanguard of innovation, ensuring our internal systems stay on the cutting edge. You'll cover the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment, with a focus on high-quality code and performance. Plus, there's an opportunity to contribute to back-end development, giving you a comprehensive tech experience. Join us for an exciting journey in digital innovation.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
You can either focus on web/front-end or look into a full stack position for which you are willing to work on Golang for the backend
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Golang within a microservices architecture
Design, develop, and maintain the front end of Grab internal portals and reusable UI components built by the Techops Development Team.
Collect and analyze user feedback, identifying areas for improvement and prioritizing feature development accordingly.
Implement best practices, ensuring high-quality code and adhering to performance, security, and accessibility standards.
Optimize and enhance existing backend and frontend systems for improved performance and scalability
Maintain thorough documentation of portal design, features, and functionality, effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and ensure portal stability and performance.
The Must-Haves:
3+ years of experience as a software engineer, writing production code.
Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks, particularly ReactJS, Micro Frontends, and Webpack.
Proficient in at least one backend language, such as Go, Scala, Java, C++, or others.
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including version control using Git, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective verbal and written English communication.
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Passion for web development and a desire to learn new technologies.
