We are in search of an innovative Lead Product Manager to spearhead our Merchant Growth & Insights division, focusing on Insights and Growth as well as Business Performance Forecasting. This role calls for a strategic thinker who can harness predictive analytics and machine learning to provide actionable insights for our merchants. The chosen candidate will lead initiatives to enhance merchant planning through precise forecasting for staffing, inventory, and marketing. Your mission will be to transform our merchant services from reactive to proactive, providing a personalised and predictive experience.
5+ years of AI/ML product management or related experience, preferably in advertising
Experience managing products through the full life cycle: strategy, development, experimentation, launch, optimization, sunset. Experience launching a v1 product is a plus
You have a practical understanding of modern machine learning and its components
You are familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages
You have experience in some of the following domains: Algorithms, Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Database Systems, Data Mining, Distributed Systems, Machine Learning, Networking, Statistics, Game Theory, or other experience with rigorous Quantitative Analysis or Systems Software implementation.
Champion the development of overarching strategies to bolster merchant success and generate actionable business insights.
Spearhead initiatives to harness predictive analytics, contributing to the enhancement of operational and marketing efficiencies.
Drive innovation in merchant services by advocating for a data-driven, personalized approach to merchant engagement and support.
Explore and integrate advanced technologies to automate and refine customer interaction and support mechanisms.
Collaborate with diverse teams to assimilate merchant insights, shaping the evolution of predictive tools and customization features.
Manage the end-to-end product development process, ensuring that initiatives are both transformational and grounded in real-world merchant requirements.
Define and monitor critical metrics that reflect the accuracy and impact of implemented strategies on merchant growth and platform performance.
Over 5 years of product management experience, with a strong background in analytics, predictive modeling, and growth initiatives.
Proven ability to develop and implement predictive analytics and machine learning solutions in a commercial environment.
Adept at engaging with technical teams and leveraging technologies such as LLMs for practical business applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the capacity to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Experience with designing and implementing LLMs, particularly for content generation and chatbot support systems.
Familiarity with merchant service platforms and the ability to drive product differentiation through personalisation and predictive insights.
A track record of managing and delivering projects that enhance user engagement and business performance.
