Get to know the Role
We are looking for a City Growth Associate to ensure the best experience for our partners and consumers. We believe a successful candidate has analytical skills and business sense, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because we need a brilliant talent to give insights on the data and plan improvement treatments for the best experience of our merchant partners and consumers. In return, you will get an opportunity to sharpen your analytical and business development skills.
The Day-to-Day Activities
You will work with large data sets and derive business recommendations through compelling statistical evidence-based research and visualization.
Run SQL queries, provide reports or updates
Define key metrics to evaluate the health of our business teams & programs
Discover & drive growth plan initiatives through data driven recommendations and partner with cross-functional teams to implement/launch them
Create a campaign plan with the financials guidelines
Leverage existing Python abstractions and/or other visualization tools to design and develop new user-facing tools & dash-boarding systems to empower partner teams
Communicate findings from data and analyses to stakeholders, influencing them to make the best decisions possible
Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards for GrabFood
Develop frameworks to analyze demand situation and growth plan
Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process
You have Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics), or equivalent experience/expertise
Advanced written and spoken English
1-3 years of work experience in consulting or a technology-related growth and demand or business development role
Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights
Strong process-oriented skills and drive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and spreadsheet softwares
Ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, operations, product management, and/or sales
Location in Makassar
Experience in working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Presto, Athena) is a plus
Experience in building dashboard with visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI/ Tableau is a plus
