Job Summary:

The Legal Assistant will assist the Legal & Regulatory team, along with the Company’s outside counsel, in providing clerical and research support services including document preparation, review, and research.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regulatory effort internationally
  • Respond to requests for information from outside counsel and consultants internationally
  • Draft certain documents and fill out basic forms and applications to support international regulatory efforts
  • Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve various information needed
  • Perform other related duties as requested

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment

Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:

  • Five (5) plus years of legal assistant experience
  • Associate degree in paralegal studies or equivalent work experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds
