Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) is a fast growing, leading-edge Artificial Intelligence company developing solutions for the global maritime sector, our solutions process large volumes of satellite and terrestrial data in real-time to provide decision-making intelligence to save lives, energy and the environment.

THE ROLE
This position will own the development and growth of a new AI-based product that monitors and analyzes the performance of maritime vessel equipment to reduce in-service (life-cycle) costs and improve operational availability for both commercial and naval assets.
As Product Manager – OCIANA Predictive Maintenance, you will report directly to Director, Product Management, and will be responsible for leading the user experience of one of our key strategic efforts in 2025 and beyond. You will work hand-in-hand with our engineering team to help define the roadmap and drive product improvements accordingly to offer further customer compatibility and use case effectiveness. You will own and execute the product vision and create a roadmap that acts as a constant north star through GSTS’s next phase of growth. You will ultimately drive growth by deeply understanding Maritime Performance Management and how it meets GSTS customer needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the end-to-end product development process that creates developer tools and user experiences that deliver results and adds value for our customers
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders (Customer Success, Tech Support, Sales, etc.) to address customer needs and capability gaps
- Define and document product requirements and a product roadmap that exceeds customer expectations
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales on the delivery of product improvements to customers
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of technology product management experience
- Subject matter expertise with ship maintenance, such as equipment health monitoring, or support at the platform or the fleet level
- Working knowledge in operational equipment health monitoring solutions (e.g., energy, maritime, aviation), either directly or through related technology roles
- Experience leading all elements of the product development lifecycle (i.e., product vision, go-to-market strategy, and driving requirements)
- Familiarity with planning, organizing, and developing the product roadmap for equipment monitoring or control system products
- Experience managing a product backlog for short-term and long-term features and prioritizing features based on customer/strategic requirements, while driving strategic business goals
- Deep customer empathy with a proven ability to use metrics/data to identify opportunities to improve products through research, customer interaction, and cross-functional stakeholder input
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work cross-functionally while supporting shared goals
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working with or supporting defence/military systems, including In-Service Support (ISS) frameworks and Canadian, US, UK, Australian, NATO, Naval operational contexts
- Background as a Software Engineer and/or experience with hardware, or embedded systems
- Exposure to dual-use product development for both defence and commercial maritime applications
