There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:Lead the planning and execution of additive and other manufacturing activities, including prototype and production component delivery for liquid rocket engines.Oversee production of manufactured parts, ensuring quality, traceability, and schedule adherence.Manage manufacturing projects within agreed timelines, scope, and budget.Support development and implementation of new manufacturing capability, including equipment commissioning and production readiness activities.Support maintenance and optimisation of 3D printing equipment, including calibration, routine servicing, and troubleshooting.Support procurement and inventory of printer consumables and materials.Develop and improve manufacturing workflows, documentation, and repeatable production processes.Identify and communicate advancements in manufacturing technologies, materials, and best practices relevant to the organisation.Advise on and support procurement of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and associated infrastructure.Work closely with design engineers to improve printability, manufacturability, and component performance.Liaise with external stakeholders such as suppliers, service providers, and research partners (e.g., universities) as required.Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety requirements, quality standards, and internal procedures.Provide senior influence, technical guidance and support the development of the junior team.Perform other duties as requested by ManagementMinimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.7+ years of experience in a professional engineering setting (excluding internships),4+ years’ experience with CAD designing parts and assemblies (NX/Teamcenter preferred, but other relevant experience is valuable4+ years’ experience in additive manufacturing or a closely related advanced manufacturing role.Strong understanding of additive manufacturing processes and production requirements.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
