There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:Conduct and support systems modelling in all phases of our products life cycle and participate in Systems Engineering reviews.Evaluate system-level guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) performance and stability, and define related system and subsystem requirements.Design and optimise launch vehicle trajectories and specify satellite orbits.Model separation events at a high level.Develop models of control system actuators.Define launch vehicle go/no-go wind criteria based on control system and load limits.Model satellite re-entry.Develop high-level telemetry RF system architecture and associated ground stations during early design phases.Define conducted and radiated electromagnetic susceptibility and emissions for system-to-system interactions.Characterise the natural environments for launch vehicles and satellites, including wind and space radiation.Apply data analysis techniques to validate models from raw test data.Work alongside the Systems Engineers providing analysis and recommendations that assist with requirements definition, verification of system level requirements, trade studies, and engineering change requests.Review and audit work conducted by the engineering departments.Operate as part of a multidisciplinary team - routinely step beyond core duties to tackle cross-domain tasks and coordinate with other engineering departments.Other duties as requested by Management.Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering or a relevant qualification.Experience with programming in Python, MATLAB, or other high-level languages.Ability to operate in dynamic, fast paced environments where roles / responsibilities change rapidly.Ability to work efficiently in a team environment with a desire and willingness to assist other team members.Ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.Experience with control systems, orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, aerodynamics, sensors and actuators, modelling and simulation.2+ years experience in engineering analysis and modelling.Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
