There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:Support the Head of Avionics Engineering in leading the avionics function within the Future Programs portfolio, including providing technical guidance, team leadership, and resource management.Oversee technical execution of avionics development projects, ensuring systems meet functional, safety, and performance requirements while aligning with program schedules and budgets.Lead system architecture definition, subsystem integration strategies, and technical risk management for avionics systems.Guide avionics requirements development, design, analysis, hardware/software integration, verification, and validation activities.Participate in and lead design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR), technical boards, and anomaly resolution processes.Mentor and develop avionics engineering staff, fostering a high-performance, safety-conscious engineering culture.Collaborate closely with other engineering functions, program management, mission operations, and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems into vehicle designs.Support avionics testing and launch campaigns, including readiness reviews, troubleshooting, and real-time mission support.Contribute to long-term avionics technology roadmaps and future capability planning.Act as delegate for the Head of Avionics Engineering as required.Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Avionics, Electrical, Mechatronics or Software Engineering5+ years of experience in a professional design engineering setting (excluding internships) NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredMaintains or is eligible for CPENG and RPEQDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
