There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do:Develop strategies, policies, and procedures to foster favourable supply agreements and robust supplier relationships.Build and lead a small team, developing work plans and KPIs to achieve team goals.Contribute to the strategic and operational plans of the Finance team.Develop a procurement framework with associated policies and procedures.Contribute to the development, execution, and enhancement of procurement strategies across all purchasing channels.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on contract negotiations, supplier preferences, and service level agreements.Conduct research and analysis into market conditions, procurement issues, and best practices.Accurately report, interpret, and analyse expenditure data, identifying opportunities for improvement.Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or other technical discipline5+ years of Procurement experience2 years of experience in a leadership roleNV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
