Who we are

Garmin Stellenbosch is the R&D team behind Garmin’s award-winning consumer radar products for activities such as cycling, golf and shooting.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for a full-time software engineer who can focus on embedded software and/or radar algorithms. We’ll consider candidates from Graduate to Senior (5+ years) level, with a background in electronic engineering.

What you'll do

You'll join a local software team developing the radar components of cutting-edge products, in collaboration with an international, multi-disciplinary product team. Your role will involve some combination of the following:

• Data analysis and algorithm prototyping and evaluation in a MATLAB environment
• Implementation of radar algorithms in C++
• Embedded platform software and hardware drivers in C/C++

What you need

• A Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
• Proficiency in embedded C/C++, and/or signal processing and algorithm development in MATLAB or Python.
• Ability to solve programming problems with high-quality code
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, to operate successfully within a local and international development team
