Overview



We are seeking a full-time Cycle Counter at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, maintaining proper process, performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory, and maintaining inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for counting and tracking inventory, conducting location verification audits, and demonstrating behaviors that are conducive to Garmin’s core values
  • Capacity to update existing guidelines, generate/print daily cycle count listings, and review/maintain all past due cycle counts
  • Perform counts using system stations/handheld scanners
  • Perform cycle counts on all parts selected except for work-in-process (In multiple systems)
  • Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin’s Attendance Policy)
  • Maintain/ensure integrity of inventory records, notify/partner with leadership on discrepancies, and be willing to assist associates in departmental procedures/processes
  • Must posses the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
  • Capable of following a process to achieve a desired result
  • Conduct Country of Origin Audit
  • Complete disposition GPNs from RTS (Return to Stock) carts

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 2 years inventory handling or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be detail-oriented/team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, have the ability to maintain accuracy, prioritize and multi-task in a in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Must be able to certify and operate material handling equipment and ability to work at high elevations
  • Must posses the ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
