Overview

We are seeking a full-time Project Manager Intern - Communications at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for serving in a highly organized supporting role in the execution of advertising initiatives, in a fast-paced environment, while having excellent oral and written communication skills.

Essential Functions

• Support the execution of day-to-day project management duties, assisting with requests for various advertising materials, including print and digital ads, emails, and event support materials
• Work closely with the project management team to review work in development, route materials for account/client review and share feedback with internal creative teams
• Foster positive relationships with the Account Managers and Creative Team members through professional and timely communications
• Develop understanding of project management process and procedures
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
• Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in word processing and database programs
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
