Overview
We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Administrative Assistant-Front Desk/Lobby (7:30-4:30) in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the associate base, Executive Assistant Human Resources, Vice President of Human Resources and assist in other departmental administrative functions in the Human Resources department.
Essential Functions
- Manage HR Reception Desk by answering the phone, fielding associate inquiries and departmental inquiries, performing transactions for various HR items and tracking and depositing funds with Finance
- Will serve as the liaison for HR policies, procedures and benefits to our manufacturing/operations building
- Assist prospective candidates with onsite interviews
- Assist HR team with administrative projects and events as needed
- Assist Executive Assistant with planning and coordination of department and company-wide internal and external events
- Assist Executive Assistant with administrative duties such as correspondence, creating reports, forms, letters, filing, typing, scanning and copying
- Assist Executive Assistant with preparation and organization of materials needed for presentations to internal and external audiences
Basic Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree AND a minimum of 5 years administrative or relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have proven experience dealing with confidential matters
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, team oriented with the ability to work well with others, a multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint, Access, and Visio
- Event planning experience
Experience with a national, multi-location organization with a large employee base
