Overview



We are seeking a full-time Aviation Systems / Web Applications Test Engineer 2 in our Chanhassen, MN or Olathe, KS locations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting successful conception, development, and/or application of sophisticated avionics systems by providing system testing support for aviation applications with mature requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Provides system testing support for one or more Web and Mobile Applications according to system test processes
  • Performs system regression testing for software according to system test processes
  • Provides clear documentation of testing completed, including observations of issues observed during testing
  • Troubleshoot and identify root cause of system failures and clearly documents required fixes
  • Coordinates with internal development teams on issues reported
  • Learns how to use and apply engineering tool

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Math, Physics or related field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of several complex integrated avionic functions
  • Demonstrates mastery of relevant tools for use in system testing
  • Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of requirements for simulator qualification

Desired Qualifications

  • Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
  • Previous work or internship experience working on consumer or aviation products
  • Pilot's license
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of web and mobile application integration and tools used for system testing

  • Experience in scripting or programming, with skills in Python, Selenium, or Appium
  • Strong data analysis skills
