Overview
We are seeking a full-time Operations Clerk in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing data records and equipment/parts that meet departmental requirements.
Essential Functions
- Receive, inventory and add new equipment/parts into department database
- Maintain and assure accuracy of records according to assigned department
- Prepare purchase requisitions, package or unpackage parts/equipment as needed
- Maintain an effective work area
- Inventory, pack/unpack and ensure for safe travel contents of equipment packages inbound and outbound for shipments/receipts for external labs and for shipments/receipts for loaner, rental and demo equipment
- Process/file calibration certificates to ensure an effective recall system
- Perform data entry to update calibration records
- Assist in maintaining the electronic calibration records system
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email correspondence
- Must possess the ability to lift 55 lbs. to effectively perform the essential functions of this job description
- Must be able to stand, sit, walk and/or twist for extended periods of time
- Must be detail-oriented, can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment, be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel as well as previous experience with database systems (ex. Microsoft Access or a CMMS)
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and remain flexible to meet department demand
