Job Description
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will own and grow relationships with our most important customers. This role goes beyond traditional account management—you’ll act as a trusted advisor, revenue owner, and customer advocate, helping shape our product and go-to-market strategy. You’ll work directly with founders, product, and engineering teams, and play a key role in turning early customers into long-term partners and champions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a small set of high-value accounts, driving retention, expansion, and overall customer success.
- Build deep relationships with decision-makers and end users, becoming a trusted strategic partner.
- Identify and execute upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities in a consultative manner.
- Lead renewals and commercial negotiations, ensuring long-term value for both customer and company.
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
- Proactively identify risks to customer health and drive resolution across internal teams.
- Help define and refine account management processes, playbooks, and best practices from the ground up.
- Contribute to case studies, referrals, and advocacy programs.Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in CRM tools.
Requirements
- 4–8+ years of experience in SaaS account management, customer success, or enterprise sales.
- Preferably having experience of satellite imagery interpretation or imagery analysis.
- Preferably having experience of working with Defence & Central Government agencies.
- Proven ability to grow accounts in a fast-paced or ambiguous environment.
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working cross-functionally.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable.
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth company is strongly preferred.
