Job Description
We are seeking a System Administrator – Networking with strong expertise in enterprise switching (Aruba), firewalls (Sophos and Palo Alto), and server administration. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance IT operations across our offices, data center, and mission control center.
Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure (Aruba CX)
Administer, configure, and maintain Aruba CX switches (L2/L3).
Design VLANs, routing, VSF stacking, and ACLs.
Implement high availability and load balancing.
Monitor switch performance and troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues.
Firewall & Security (Sophos & Palo Alto)
Configure and maintain firewall rules and VPNs (site-to-site, SSL).
Monitor intrusion prevention, threat protection, and web filtering.
Audit firewall logs and implement IT security policies.
Support firewall management for both Sophos XGS and Palo Alto devices.
Server & Data Center Management
Manage Linux servers; perform patching, log monitoring, and backups.
Ensure network segmentation and isolation.
Endpoint & Workspace Administration
Manage Windows 10/11 Pro endpoints; enforce IT asset compliance.
Administer Google Workspace / O365 (users, groups, security settings).
Manage Windows and MAC systems.
Monitoring, Documentation & Support
Implement monitoring for network, servers, and endpoints.
Maintain IT documentation (network diagrams, configurations, inventory).
Provide technical support for networking/system issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
1–2 years of experience as a System/Network Administrator.
Hands-on experience with Aruba switches and knowledge of L2/L3 switching, routing protocols, ACLs, and VSF.
Experience with Sophos XGS and Palo Alto firewall management.
Solid Linux server administration skills.
Knowledge of IT security frameworks and best practices.
Familiarity with Google Workspace administration.
Preferred / Good to Have:
CCNA / CCNP certification.
Experience in data center operations and monitoring tools.
Exposure to mission-critical IT environments.
