A. Quality Assurance and Control (QA/QC)

SAR Data:

  • Perform visual and quantitative checks to identify artifacts, calibration issues, or geometric distortions.

MSI (Optical) Data:

  • Perform QC checks for cloud cover, haze, sensor noise, and atmospheric correction quality.

  • Verify band-to-band registration accuracy.

  • Assess orthorectification and geometric accuracy against reference data.

SyncFused (SAR + MSI) Products:

  • Inspect fused outputs to ensure coherence and seamless integration of SAR and optical data.

  • Identify and document artifacts introduced during the fusion process.

Process Management:

  • Use internal software tools and automated scripts for routine QC monitoring and metric generation.

  • Maintain QA/QC logs, anomaly reports, and correction status databases.

B. Documentation & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Data Processing Engineers and Cal/Val teams to resolve data anomalies.

  • Prepare detailed quality reports summarizing issues, performance metrics, and required reprocessing.
