We’re looking for a Front End Engineer who can design, develop, and deploy interactive, robust, and scalable dashboards. You’ll play a key role in connecting the intelligence platform’s front end, database, and workflow layers — transforming complex satellite insights into seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop intuitive React-based dashboards with integrated geospatial visualization frameworks (Mapbox, Leaflet, Cesium, etc.).
- Build and maintain API integrations between the front end and the platform’s core services.
- Design, test, and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring scalability and security.
- Architect and implement API gateways handling user authentication, workflow orchestration, CRUD operations, and data storage access.
- Develop backend services using Python (FastAPI) and Node.js (Express) — with a primary focus on Python-based microservices.
- Manage software versioning, packaging, and release notes for periodic feature roll outs.
Requirements
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in building applications using react/python/node/SQL
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL (schemas, joins, triggers, indexing).
- Knowledge of RESTful API design, OAuth/Auth0, and JWT-based authentication.
- Exposure to geospatial libraries (Mapbox GL, Leaflet, OpenLayers) is a plus.
- Comfortable with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
