Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects related to space-borne and satellite systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, planning, and communication skills and will be responsible for driving project execution across cross-functional teams.
This role involves close collaboration with the engineering team, stakeholders, clients, and external advisors. You will play a pivotal role in managing timelines, budgets, risk, and scope while ensuring project goals align with GalaxEye’s mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of space-borne and satellite system projects from initiation to delivery.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and technical teams.
Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress using project management tools.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution.
Facilitate communication across teams and act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Provide regular updates to leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech / B.E) in Engineering or equivalent.
Master’s in Management or equivalent (preferred).
Skills & Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in project management, preferably in aerospace, satellite, or high-tech engineering domains.
Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar).
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work methodically and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with spaceborne or satellite systems is a strong advantage.
