Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the development and operations of our
scalable, cloud-native infrastructure that supports real-time satellite data delivery. You'll work
closely with engineering, data, and product teams to build robust, automated, and secure
systems that can handle large volumes of EO data with minimal downtime.
This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced environment where reliability and performance are
mission-critical.
Key Responsibilities
● Architect and manage highly available, fault-tolerant infrastructure on cloud
platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
● Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth, automated deployments
and rollbacks.
● Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, and manage
containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
● Implement system observability, including centralized logging, performance
monitoring, and alerting.
● Ensure system security, compliance, and identity management (IAM, encryption,
secure networking).
● Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and ongoing system hardening.
● Partner with backend engineers to ensure performance, scalability, and seamless
integration with microservices.
● Optimize cloud spend and resource allocation based on system load and business
goals.
● Contribute to and maintain internal DevOps best practices and documentation.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
● 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
● Strong knowledge of Python for automation and scripting. Familiarity with
monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Granada, ELK, Datadog).
● Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
● Experience working with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
● Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking concepts.
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Knowledge of satellite technology and geospatial data processing is a plus.
