GalaxEye Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites.

1. Understanding system/functional requirements, breaking it down into software requirements with the help of System architect/Lead.
   
2. Creating Software Detailed Design documentation.
   
3. Code implementation in C ( As per the layered architecture ).
   
4. Performing Static Analysis, Unit Testing, and Integration Testing.
   
5. Responsible for the evaluation of third-party software,debugging field issues, and involving peer reviews
   

Requirements

1. B.Tech, BS, MS or PhD in EE/CE/CS, or the equivalent in experience with evidence of exceptional ability.
   
2. 1-3 years of professional working experience in developing hardware system softwares and software peripherals
   
3. Worked with programming microcontrollers like Dspic /STM /TI /Microchip/Renesas, etc.
   
4. Working knowledge of RTOS based systems
   
5. Solid understanding of timing principles, including clock domain crossing and timing closure.
   
6. Strong debugging and analytical skills, verification and validation of embedded systems
   
7. Solid programming skills (C / C++) and development of large code bases
   
8. Industry experience with processor peripheral interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI, high-speed serial I/F’s, PCI-Express, USB, MIPI, LVDS, storage).
   
9. Working knowledge of Microcontroller Low-Level Drivers like ADC, PWM, Input Capture, Timers, RTC, Flash, EEPROM, etc.
   
10. Knowhow of using Lab equipments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc).
    

Preferred

1. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodology.
   
2. Experience in UML Designing.
   
3. Entry-level in Python/Batch programming.
   
4. Understanding/working knowledge of Layered Architecture
   
5. Experience in mechatronics / robotics / avionics systems would be a big plus
