GalaxEye Space, is a deep-tech Space start-up spun off from IIT-Madras and is currently based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. We are dedicated to advancing the frontiers of space exploration. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge solutions that address the challenges of the modern space industry by specialising in developing a constellation of miniaturised, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites.

Our new age technology enables all-time, all-weather imaging, this with leveraging advanced processing and AI capabilities, we ensure near real-time data delivery and are glad to highlight that we have successfully demonstrated these imaging capabilities, the first of its kind in the world, across various platforms such as Drones as well as HAPS (High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites).

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and Developing a firmware to digitising the RF Analog signal from the Radar using High Speed ADC boards

  • Developing firmware and software support for the DAQ System

  • Benchmark the results and optimise the design according to the system requirements

  • Run and debug gate level simulations at SoC level, Implement ECOs

  • Developing and testing the Hardware using test cases

  • ​Coordinate with a small team of freshers and interns to accelerate the design


Requirements

  • Experience in working with SoC FPGA, FPGA development boards, evaluation boards

  • Experience working with high speed transceivers using FPGAs

  • Experience with firmware development for hardware

  • Knowledge of high speed ADC’s, high speed data transmission protocols, etc.

  • Knowledge of memory blocks, storage blocks, high speed connectors, registers etc
