Who are we looking for?
- We are actively looking for a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) engineer to help us process RF spectrum recordings automatizing procedures to extract every bit of information from them.
Responsibilities:
- Definition and sizing of new satellite and ground station requirements to comply with new SIGINT demands.
- Design and execution of ground testing setups to validate the software and hardware developed.
- Perform functional modelling of DSP algorithms and their implementation in RTL (Verilog/VHDL) or high-level languages (C/C++).
Profile:
- Telecommunications engineer or similar.
- Utilization and design experience on Software Defined Radios (SDR).
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automating tasks, simulating, or enhancing system testing and analysis.
- Proven experience in signal identification with various modulation schemes (e.g., QPSK, QAM, BPSK) and Forward Error Correction (FEC) techniques (e.g., LDPC, Turbo Codes, Reed-Solomon, CC).
- Knowledge of additional communications systems concepts (coding, RF propagation, multiplexing, filtering, etc).
- Excellent RF, antenna, and link budgets comprehension.
- FPGA programming experience.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
Preferably:
- Educational master level.
- Demonstrable interest in the space sector.
- Expertise with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks such as GNU Radio.
- Experience with Xilinx Zynq or Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ series FPGAs, Analog Devices AD9361, and other common RF chipsets.
