The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Chief of Staff to serve as a force multiplier for our SVP of Public Sector Sales. The SVP dedicates significant time in the field with sellers and customers; needs an internal partner to run the organization's operating cadence, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure executive alignment.
This role is ideal for a former consultant with strong business acumen and an MBA, who thrives on complexity, demands accountability, and excels at translating high-level strategy into executable project plans.
Operational Cadence & Internal Strategy Execution
Manage the Operating Rhythm: Own and execute the entire weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence for the Public Sector sales organization (e.g., prepare for forecasting calls, staff meetings, QBRs).
Project Management: Drive key internal strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of the SVP.
Performance Reporting: Design, maintain, and distill insights from sales leader datasets, transforming complex data into clear narratives for the SVP and executive leadership.
Budget & Planning: Assist the SVP in annual planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across the Public Sector segment.
2. Executive Enablement & Deal Execution Support
Meeting Preparation: Prepare detailed briefing materials, agendas, presentations, and pre-reads for all internal and external executive meetings, ensuring the SVP is fully prepared and efficient.
Action Item Accountability: Drive any next steps coming out of customer meetings, internal staff meetings, and leadership forums. Ensure ownership and deadlines are clear and followed up on.
Communication Hub: Act as the central communication point for the SVP, filtering, synthesizing, and disseminating information between the field sales organization, the executive leadership team (CEO/CRO), and cross-functional partners (Enablement, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal).
3. Direct Report Management & Coaching Support
Direct Report Support: Work directly with Sales VPs to drive strategic alignment and operational rigor.
Goal Alignment: Track progress against sales goals, helping Sales leaders understand where they are succeeding and where course correction is required.
Talent Pipeline: Assist in managing the Public Sector talent pipeline, supporting the development of high-potential employees (e.g., through mentorship, project assignment, and coaching frameworks).
The Skillset
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Management Consulting or 5+ years of experience in a highly analytical Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Chief of Staff role.
Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information, create clear models/presentations, and articulate strategic insights to C-level executives.
Operational Discipline: Proven track record of managing projects, enforcing organizational cadences, and driving accountability across a remote or decentralized team.
Communication: World-class written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in executive-level preparation and presentation design.
Influence Without Authority: Ability to build strong relationships across departments (Legal, Finance, Product) and influence outcomes without formal reporting lines.
Sales Fluency: Deep understanding of B2B/Enterprise sales cycles, deal execution, and forecasting methodologies.

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $180,000 and $200,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
