The Opportunity

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) on the FlockOS team, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for customers during their implementation, guiding them through a highly technical and cross-functional process. You’ll host regular meetings, and serve as the bridge between customers and Flock's internal engineering, marketing, and customer success teams. Your ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders is essential to success. This is a fully remote position, so strong time management, proactive communication, and comfort with autonomy are key.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of FlockOS software across multiple systems and environments, including integrations with CAD, VMS, and third-party APIs

  • Work directly with customer stakeholders, customer technical resources, and internal Flock Safety technical resources to move implementations along

  • Manage multiple moving action items within multiple customer implementations

  • Maintain detailed project statuses and notes to easily communicate information to internal and external stakeholders

  • Host regular customer meetings, providing agendas and notes and driving discussions forward

  • Partner with the Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Project Management, and Customer Success teams to tactfully resolve escalated situations

  • FlockOS implementations are often multi-stream, involving complex coordination across software systems, customer IT infrastructure, and internal engineering teams. Success in this role requires an ability to quickly understand technical requirements, communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and adapt to evolving customer environments.

The Skillset

  • Have demonstrated excellence in project-management roles for 2+ years

  • Have experience managing technically complex software implementations with multiple integrations (e.g., CAD, VMS, data streams, or API-based services)

  • Are comfortable supporting customers through a variety of contact channels, including phone, chat, and/or email -- bonus points for experience with Salesforce or similar tools and any experience with project management tools (such as TaskRay)

  • Are comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation and facilitating communication between customer IT teams and internal engineers

  • Can break down highly technical issues into actionable steps for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Have experience working with or adjacent to engineering teams and understanding how systems interact at an architectural level

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Have experience troubleshooting technical software and finding creative solutions to push implementations forward to completion

  • Embrace change and know how to maneuver around challenges and ambiguity

  • Have the ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and clearly communicate necessary information to customers and internal teams in both technical and layman’s terms

  • Can provide clear examples of success and lessons learned in project management

Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
