SUMMARY

We’re looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined, entry-level technician to join our Propulsion Fluids team. This is an opportunity for someone eager to learn, develop hands-on skills, and grow within the aerospace industry. You’ll play a critical role in building, cleaning, proofing, and preparing components that power cutting-edge propulsion systems working in a team that values creativity, problem-solving, and continuous learning. This is an entry level role located at our rocket production facility north of Cedar Park, in Briggs, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initial receiving inspections for all hardware and tooling

  • Hydrostatically and pneumatically proof and clean components

  • Identify and document discrepancies found during inspections

  • Follow, review, improve and provide feedback on work instructions and engineering drawings

  • Meticulous inspection of rocket engine components: combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, and other sub-assemblies

  • Safely work with hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations

  • Clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods

  • Perform shop level maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • GED or high school diploma
  • Basic computer skills (web browsers, Outlook, Microsoft Teams)
  • Mechanically inclined — if you’re the person who loves to take things apart, build, and improve, we want you
  • Strong work ethic and curiosity
  • Ability to adapt and support multiple functions on the shop floor, Willingness to wear multiple hats in hands-on roles
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
  • Comfortable using micrometers and other inspection equipment
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs. for limited durations unassisted
  • Full 40 hour weeks with occasional required overtime
  • Work weekends and overtime when necessary

Desired

  • High level of attention to detail
  • Cross functional communication skills
  • Hobbies or personal projects that show hands-on skills are a big plus (car/motorcycle/bike building, woodworking, metal fabrication etc.)
  • Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing components is a plus
