We are looking for a strategic Senior People Business Partner who embodies each of Favor’s core values and serves as a culture champion for our team. The People Business Partner will work alongside Favor’s management team and team members to support performance management, employee relations, career development, engagement programming, and organizational challenges. This role will be required to see the big picture, use data to guide and propose solutions, and, in some cases, challenge convention.
What you'll do:
- Develop relationships with leaders to improve work environments, build morale, and increase productivity, retention, and engagement
- Support Head of People with identifying process improvements
- Lead execution of talent strategies within the organizations you support
- Manage and lead various People Ops initiatives in accordance with the annual People Ops roadmap
- Identify training needs and assist the Employee Experience team in aligning training programs with business objectives
- Drive strategic workforce planning by ensuring the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future
- Optimize organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business
- Select and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles over time
- Partner with the Employee Experience team to support programs and processes related to team member engagement, including engagement surveys, cross-department focus groups, training, and resources
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team on job offers and hiring needs
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting thorough and objective investigations and producing effective solutions
- Provide career guidance to team members and propose solutions for internal movement and opportunities
- Provide daily performance management guidance to management teams and drive the formal semi-annual performance evaluation process
- Identify departmental training needs to continuously drive performance improvements
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, restructures, and succession planning
- Comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate aspects of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies in partnership with the People and Legal teams
Skills you have:
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience (bachelor's degree preferred)
- 8+ years of experience within human resources
- Knowledge of compensation strategy, employee relations, organizational design, performance management, employment law, and diversity, equity, and inclusion

- You have great influencing skills and experience with c-suite level stakeholders
- You have excellent interpersonal skills
- You have a good grasp of human resource management techniques and excellent people management skills
- You have outstanding mentoring and relationship building skills
- You have exemplary organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
- You have the ability to set up and track relevant metrics and key performance indicators and use them to drive business results
- You have a good understanding of the many disciplines within human resources, including diversity and inclusion, performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management, employee relations, and more
- You are excellent at stakeholder management and developing good work relationships across the organization
- You have solid change management and project management capabilities
- You preferably have SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials
