Job Title: Financial Analyst
Reports to: Head of Finance & Accounting

Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and program performance analysis. This role will partner closely with program management, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to drive financial visibility, accountability, and strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with business partnership skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead monthly forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP) processes for program labor
- Develop scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making
Program & Operational Finance
- Support program managers with cost tracking, EAC (Estimate at Completion), and variance analysis
- Monitor program performance against budget, identifying risks and opportunities
- Partner with operations to proactively analyze cost efficiencies and productivity metrics
- Own the labor rate development process in conjunction with Program Management, Accounting, HR and Business Development
- Support risk register quantification
Financial Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting packages for Finance and Program leadership
- Deliver variance explanations and actionable insights
- Support internal and external audit requirements
- Drive process improvement across finance and program management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive finance experience
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Experience with ERP and/or MRP systems
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Nice To Have
- Experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing organizations
- Experience with Netsuite and/or Costpoint
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and labor rate structures

- Early identification of labor cost risks
- Accurate and defensible EACs
- Strong partnership with program management
- Clear, concise executive-level financial communication
