What you will do:

You will be responsible for the accounting and consolidation compliance at Group level. You will be in charge of the follow up and implementation of applicable norms.

You will lead change and deliver transformation through the streamlining of processes and the identification of synergies to strengthen capacity and create a more cohesive, efficient, group accounting and reporting function with a continuous improvement mindset.

You will be in charge of all IT projects related to accounting for all subsidiaries, supporting SAP and OneStream tools. You will steer IT projects related to accounting tools in coordination with IT teams. You will ensure proper development are planned and delivered timely and as per business needs.

You will be accountable for leading best in class accounting team business partnering to maximize both potential and efficiency in the function.

As you ensure efficient internal controls, you will develop and maintain solid tools and processes to ensure appropriate and effective internal controls.

You will deliver through M&A activities for successful integration of teams.

Your responsibilities will include, without being limited to:

Accounting: as Head of Accounting for the Group, you will be responsible for the processes, tools and accounting in SAP both in local and IFRS GAAP’s for all group’ entities of the Group, Eutelsat and OneWeb business groups.

• Ensure the production of the statutory and Consolidated accounts, as warrant of the deliveries in Time, Quality and Reliability.
• Oversee the accounting operations of French entities (80% of the Group activity) + subsidiaries directly or indirectly.
• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported timely.
• Ensure the production of monthly, half yearly and yearly accounts of the French entities + subsidiaries (directly or indirectly) in IFRS and French GAAPs
• Manage the relationship with external auditors especially for French entities in IFRS and local GAAPs.
• Ensure the proper level of internal control is in place in accounting tasks.
• Ensure suppliers invoices are paid as per legal and contractual deadlines.
• Ensure customer billing is issued as per contractual agreements.
• Prepare expected cash flows for forecast and budget campaigns.
• Maintain and update when necessary the accounting procedures and policies.
• Anticipate the accounting impacts linked with the development of news businesses or new processes and ensure proper implementation.

Consolidation: as the Head of Consolidation, you will ensure the quality and timeliness of the production of the accounts and ensures proper relationship with external auditors for the certification of the accounts of French entities.

• You will lead and business partner on ad-hoc M&A transformation and organization activities of the department in the context of the new ETL Group.
