Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance (QA):
- Conduct detailed QA checks to verify content accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Identify and report errors, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in content
- Collaborate with content creators and engineers to resolve quality issues
- Quality Control (QC):
- Perform final QC reviews before content publication or deployment
- Ensure adherence to content guidelines, style guides, and branding standards
- Validate that all functional and non-functional requirements are met
- User Reports and Issue Resolution:
- Monitor and analyze user reports related to content quality and functionality
- Investigate, reproduce, and prioritize reported user issues
- Collaborate with content engineers and relevant teams to fix user issues in a timely manner
- Communicate resolutions and updates to users, ensuring a positive user experience
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content strategists, project managers, and content engineers
- Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance content quality and user experience
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve quality-related challenges
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document QA/QC findings, test cases, and results
- Generate and share reports on content quality metrics, trends, and user issues
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA/QC guidelines and checklists
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance QA/QC processes and workflows
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in QA/QC
- Participate in training and development activities to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
- 1+ yrs experience with ArcGIS platform, especially ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Proven experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in content management or digital publishing
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in QA/QC tools and methodologies
- Experience in managing user reports and resolving user issues
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms is a plus
- Bachelor’s in GIS, Information Systems, or a related field
Recommended Qualifications
- Knowledge of instructional design and content optimization techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills for investigating and fixing user issues efficiently
