As an Electronics Integration and Test Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating, testing, and evaluating the functionality, performance, and reliability of the spacecraft electronic sub-systems.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Test Engineering and is based in our Saratoga, CA office. Occasional travel may be needed.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work closely with design and production teams to define test requirements
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test lists, station BOMs, and operator instructions
  • Develop test solutions to automate data collection and reports
  • Design electronic test boards, wiring harnesses, and other custom test hardware
  • Run tests through all stages of product development and assembly
  • Provide design for test (DFT) feedback on upcoming designs
  • Perform root cause analysis as needed to resolve failures

What you bring to this role:

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience as a test engineer or electrical engineer
  • Familiar with typical lab equipment like DAQs, DSOs, DMMs, power supplies, VSA, VSG, VNA, etc.
  • Skilled programmer in at least 1 language such as C/C++, C#, Python, or Matlab.
  • Knowledge of various testing techniques and requirements
  • Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment

Extra points for the following:

  • Proficiency with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout of complex PCBs
  • Experience designing or testing electrical power systems.
  • Experience designing or testing RF.
  • Knowledge of communication systems and signal processing.
  • Experience with git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency performing circuit analyses
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed.
