About the Team

DoorDash’s New Verticals organization focuses on accelerating one of our strategic pillars ⁠— DashMart, our grocery and convenience delivery offering. We’re building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. The DashMart S&O Growth team owns initiatives to grow DashMart customer volume, focusing on new Customer use cases, optimizing merchandising, and executing go to market strategies for key customer moments and occasions.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate on the DashMart S&O team, you will own the ideation and execution of key strategic growth initiatives at DashMart. In this role, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams to bring initiatives to life, analyze their performance, and then iterate accordingly.

You will report into the Manager, DashMart S&O in our New Verticals organization

  • Strategize. From first principles problem solving, you will set the strategic vision for your initiatives
  • Collaborate. You will support DashMart’s growth through maintaining a close partnership with our category management, product management, local operations, and New Verticals teams
  • Experiment. You will own end-to-end strategic customer initiatives, including merchandising, promos, and ShopEx. You will ideate, develop, execute, and analyze impact of your initiatives
  • Analyze. Utilize your knowledge of data to analyze the impact of key growth initiatives and identify opportunities to improve processes and initiatives

We’re excited about you because…

  • You’re a strategic thinker and are comfortable manipulating and analyzing data to make decisions. You have experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • You’re able to manage multiple concurrent projects, stay organized, and prioritize your time effectively
  • You have strong cross-functional skills and have experience with projects spanning multiple teams and can align on mutual goals
  • You have a strong attention to detail, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and the tenacity to solve many disparate problems for multiple stakeholders at once.
  • You have 2-4 years experience in operations, technology, consulting, business development, banking, analytics, marketing, high-growth or early-stage startup or related experience.
  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
