Our Sales team advocates for our products and the customers they serve. We’ve built a loyal customer base by selling consumers, retailers, affiliate partners, distributors and industry stakeholders on the DISH brands with authenticity. The sales department is critical to driving demand and creating strategic partnerships across the industry.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

This leadership role addresses the critical challenge of executing complex, cross-functional business initiatives and platform transitions within the Direct Sales department. The chosen program manager spearheads the integration of innovative artificial intelligence tools to optimize call center efficiencies and resolve operational bottlenecks. Success in this position requires bridging the gap between technical IT processes and business strategy, translating intricate performance data into clear, actionable roadmaps for executive decision-makers. By cultivating high-performing project teams and fostering interdepartmental alignment, this role ensures seamless product launches and sustained organizational growth.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • Direct all Direct Sales employee activities to achieve key projects and initiatives while documenting development and conducting performance evaluations for program managers

  • Lead the entire lifecycle of major business initiatives including transitioning teams to new sales platforms, tools, and AI deployments

  • Partner with stakeholders across IT, Marketing, Indirect Sales, and Programming to align project timelines and ensure total operational readiness for launches

  • Deploy targeted AI initiatives aimed at significantly improving call center efficiencies and streamlining customer-facing workflows

  • Translate complex data sets and call trends into clear, actionable presentations for senior leadership to drive strategic decisions

  • Establish yourself as the proactive, cross-functional face of Direct Sales in meetings to represent departmental interests and align goals with the broader corporate mission


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • A proven track record of professional mentorship and the capability to build high-trust, high-output project teams

  • Critical experience managing and analyzing complex projects, assessing organizational opportunities, communicating risks, and executing strategic mitigation plans

  • Advanced AI literacy with the ability to leverage modern machine learning and automation tools for data-driven decision-making and project tracking

  • Strong collaborative and influential skills to unify disparate, cross-functional teams toward a singular launch goal without relying on direct authority

  • The professional expertise to translate intricate IT processes and complex data trends into clear, concise, and executive-ready presentations

  • Resilience and agility when working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with rapidly shifting business priorities

Additional Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Proficiency with project management software such as Hive and data visualization tools like Tableau

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as project demands require

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in program or project management, with at least 2 of those years in a formal or informal leadership or mentorship role

  • Required Technical Skills:

    • Managing complex cross-functional project lifecycles and platform transitions

    • Translating complex data sets and technical processes for executive audiences

    • Leveraging modern project tracking tools and data-driven systems

    • Willingness to work flexible hours, including 45+ hours a week, nights and weekends

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
