Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Payments Operations Team is a highly collaborative group responsible for the analysis, reporting, and continuity of all customer payments, refunds, and chargebacks for DISH, Sling, and Boost Mobile. The team focuses on leveraging automation and AI initiatives to ensure a best-in-class payment experience for our customers for all payments, chargebacks, fraud, and refunds. As a Business Operations Analyst III, you will be heavily involved in reporting, process improvements, escalations, and enterprise releases related to payment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for payment operations, ensuring accurate payment continuity, reporting and operational flows
  • Analyze operational trends, detect root causes of account exceptions, and present findings and data-driven recommendations to leadership for process improvement
  • Own end-to-end analysis of payment KPIs and channel performance to drive data-informed decisions that fuel revenue growth and improve sales efficiency
  • Create timely and accurate ad-hoc reports and identify potential opportunities for process automation and improvement using various methods
  • Audit, monitor, and prevent account exceptions to ensure customer inquiries are fulfilled accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies and ethical conduct

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance) OR equivalent combination of education and at least two years of related experience
  • 4+ years of experience with analytical reporting, data analysis, troubleshooting, and making recommendations based on gathered information

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including proficiency with Pivot Tables and common functions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to a wide audience
  • Demonstrated natural curiosity to explore complex problems, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong ability to manage multiple processes and workstreams in a fast paced, dynamic business environment
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments
  • Experience in Customer/Vendor payments, Ecommerce, Payment Fraud, or Chargebacks is a plus; experience with SQL or Python coding is also a plus

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
