Job Duties and Responsibilities

Sling TV is navigating a complex and competitive streaming market where growing incremental revenue is just as vital as gaining new subscribers. You will tackle the challenge of optimizing our revenue ecosystem for add-on programming and digital services to drive meaningful iARPU growth. By bridging the gap between strategic vision and tactical execution, you will architect data-driven monetization frameworks that maximize customer lifetime value through sophisticated promotional tactics across our entire subscriber base.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

  • You will audit current monetization models and establish a performance baseline for add-on programming across all owned and paid media channels.

  • Drive measurable increases in iARPU and platform profitability by owning the overarching product and marketing strategy for premium add-on content.

  • Collaborate with Programming, Product, and Finance teams to identify untapped revenue streams while ensuring full contractual compliance for our premium partners.

  • Direct high-level omni-channel marketing campaigns that use targeted messaging to influence subscriber spend and engagement.

  • Deliver deep-dive financial analysis on ROI and churn impact, transforming complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

  • Standardize project management frameworks to move complex cross-functional initiatives from initial ideation to measurable market action.

  • Leverage AI-driven analytics tools to predict customer sentiment and automate personalized promotional triggers that enhance the monetization lifecycle.


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Advanced technical proficiency in data visualization platforms like Tableau and Adobe Analytics, enabling the extraction of meaningful insights from massive, complex datasets.

  • Strategic financial acumen and a track record of managing $10M+ budgets, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term, scalable revenue growth.

  • Exceptional data storytelling capabilities that allow for the translation of technical financial metrics into persuasive narratives for executive decision-making.

  • Collaborative leadership and a "player-coach" mindset, used to navigate organizational complexity and elevate the performance of a high-functioning team.

  • Deep competitive intelligence and a strong pulse on the streaming landscape, ensuring monetization strategies remain proactive rather than reactive.

  • Rigorous operational discipline in program management, ensuring cross-functional resources are mobilized effectively to achieve high-stakes business outcomes.

Additional Qualifications

  • MBA preferred.

  • Experience in the entertainment or streaming industry is highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum Experience: 8–10+ years of experience in strategic marketing, growth, or monetization.

  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 5 years of experience with data visualization and project management tools (e.g., Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Airtable, or Rally).

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
