Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

We are looking for a seasoned Software Test Engineer II who is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our wireless applications. You'll employ a comprehensive testing approach, spanning user interfaces, back-end systems, and data flows, to identify and resolve issues. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to teamwork and process improvement within a global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements and design manual test cases for wireless applications, including GUI, API, and database validation
  • Execute test scripts and perform regression testing for wireless use cases and scenarios
  • Log, track, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects and production incidents
  • Perform data validation and integrity checks for wireless data flows
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies
  • Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team and support other duties as needed

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering field
  • 2+ years hands-on testing experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in software testing within the wireless/telecommunications industry, including hands-on work with systems such as POS, device activation, billing, and network provisioning
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, usability, end-to-end, regression) and experience with database testing/SQL
  • Skilled in Agile/Scrum practices and experienced working in CI/CD environments
  • Proficient with test management tools (e.g., PractiTest, Jira) and mobile testing (iOS/Android a plus)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to leadership, customers, and business partners
  • Detail-oriented, high-energy team player with the ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $95,000.00/Year
