Job Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions of this job position include, but are not limited to, the following tasks and duties an employee encounters while performing this job. Key Responsibilities:
- Model DISH manufacturing and distribution values and behaviors
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, which includes but is not limited to sweeping and removing trash/debris
- Adhere to established safety, quality, and performance standards while meeting department accuracy standards
- Maintain an efficient pace while completing high-quality work, such as ensuring all pieces are in the package for the next line worker without delaying line movement
- Work in all line positions determined by rotation and business needs, including but not limited to scanning receivers, stacking receivers, and building boxes
- Interpret and execute on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and/or schedule form
- Prepare all material, such as manuals, kitting supplies, and receiver parts, as required for daily operation of the packaging line and shipping departments
- Handle and place required items in various packaging configurations as directed
- Palletize material and prepare for transfer/shipping, including but not limited to wrapping pallets
- Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel while maintaining professionalism
- Consistently meet performance expectations in all line positions while exceeding in most positions
- Ensure smooth line operation, which includes but is not limited to detecting packaging defects/errors and notifying management
- Ensure products are received and moved through the Warehouse floor via pallet jack
- Maintain supermarket kanban levels, and deliver operations based on schedule
- Cross-trained in both packing and shipping operations while providing frequent coverage in both areas
- Report to work on-site on a regular, predictable and timely basis
- Work variable shifts including overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Meet all of DISH’s performance expectations, including but not limited to, satisfying all applicable metrics, productivity standards, goals, and increased proficiencies related to overall performance
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- The employee frequently is required to mobilize around the work area, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other office equipment typically found in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance/procedure instructions and safety rules
- Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization whether individually or in groups
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; draw and interpret bar graphs and diagrams
- Work environment is a warehouse with conditions including but not limited to no climate control and increased levels of dust
- While performing the duties and essential functions of this job, the employee is exposed to computer equipment and noise levels of a typical manufacturing/warehouse work environment, with the requisite level of noise associated with 100 or more employees working in the same physical location
- Initial training and successful performance as a Warehouse Associate I or lateral move from another department
- Meets required certifications based on career ladder level

Compensation: $17.55/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
