Our interns partner with teams across EchoStar working to drive our latest game-changing innovation. Our internship is a 10 week, in-person experience that is paid hourly with eligible overtime. Interns are given a business project(s) to complete over the summer and present their results to leadership and their peers. EchoStar provides each intern with a manager to support them with the execution of their project.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Product & Device Service Analyst Intern. This position will be located at our office in Littleton, CO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Boost Protect (Device Protection):
- Analyze protection attach rates, churn, claims activity, and device mix to identify product enhancement opportunities
- Assist with evaluating pricing models, loss ratios, claim trends, and customer experience feedback
- Support the development of training or sales materials by turning complex claims/coverage rules into simple, customer-friendly language
- Boost Trade-In:
- Review trade-in pricing competitiveness across major recommerce partners and prepaid competitors
- Help assess device eligibility, grading patterns, return-to-value metrics, and system or kiosk-level friction points
- Support the team in designing dashboards to track participation trends and trade-in to upgrade conversion
- Boost Financing (Lease-to-Own / Device Payment Options):
- Analyze financing funnel metrics including application rates, approvals, declines, repayment behavior, and SKU-level performance
- Conduct market research on alternative financing models used across prepaid, retail, and e-commerce
- Assist in evaluating risk signals, customer demographics, and promotional impacts
- Cross-Functional Product Support:
- Prepare presentations and business cases for device services enhancements, promotions, or new program concepts
- Collaborate with marketing, retail, operations, and care to collect feedback on product performance and customer barriers
- Help build reporting tools and KPI summaries that monitor the health of each device services product line
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- GPA 3.3 or above
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, in a related field of study
- Must have 60 credit hours completed by May 2026
Skills and Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment screen including a reference check, criminal background check, and possible drug test
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Excel/Sheets required; SQL, Tableau, or Python a plus)
- Ability to translate device, pricing, and claims data into insights that influence decision-making
- Curiosity about smartphones, device lifecycles, refurb economics, financing models, and consumer behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in presenting complex topics simply
- Attention to detail for reviewing device-related requirements, pricing tables, and customer feedback
- Comfort conducting research on competitors, partners, OEMs, and emerging consumer trends
- Creative, resourceful mindset with a passion for delivering customer-first product experiences
- Collaboration skills and confidence presenting insights to product managers and leadership

Compensation: $18.00/Hour - $24.00/Hour
