Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are hiring a results-driven and technically proficient Technical Operations Lead to head our critical 24/7 Security Operations Center. This leadership role is central to safeguarding our enterprise, overseeing Incident/Threat Management, Endpoint Security, and Vulnerability Management operations.
Incident & Threat Leadership: Act as the primary Incident Handler for critical and high-severity security incidents, ensuring strict adherence to the full incident lifecycle.
Advanced Defense: Establish and lead advanced threat hunting activities. Integrate actionable Threat Intelligence (TTPs) into detection logic and proactive defense strategies to manage zero-day vulnerabilities and emerging risks.
Engineering & Efficacy: Serve as the technical liaison between the CDO and Security Engineering. Translate operational gaps into precise solution requirements, ensuring platforms like XSIAM and SOAR playbooks are practically implemented to drive measurable security efficacy. Proven expertise in alert tuning to maximize true positive detection rates.
Process Optimization: Champion and execute Security Orchestration and Automation (SOAR) initiatives to increase operational efficiency and accelerate response. Define, track, and report on core CDO KPIs and SLAs, continuously optimizing workflows to improve detection speed and accuracy.
Team & Governance: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing 24/7 team, managing resource allocation and fostering a continuous learning environment. Provide clear, concise Executive Communication on strategic security priorities, performance metrics, and risk posture to CISO and VP-level stakeholders.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
14+ Years of SecOps Leadership: Directing and scaling complex Security Operations programs and initiatives.
Technical Team Leadership: Proven expertise managing and mentoring specialized security teams (VA/PT, Endpoint, Security Monitoring).
Platform Mastery: Deep hands-on experience leveraging SIEM, UEBA, SOAR, and EDR platforms for advanced threat hunting, correlation, and streamlined incident response.
Strategic Partnerships: Managed and collaborated with external MSSP and technology partners to enhance overall security posture.
Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate technical risk and strategy to executive and non-technical audiences.
Certifications & Proficiency: Holds CISSP, CISM, and is proficient in Palo Alto (PRISMA, Cortex XSIAM, XSOAR, XDR) and ZScaler technologies
