Our Sales team advocates for our products and the customers they serve. We’ve built a loyal customer base by selling consumers, retailers, affiliate partners, distributors and industry stakeholders on the DISH brands with authenticity. The sales department is critical to driving demand and creating strategic partnerships across the industry.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position is on the Sales Operations Compensation team, a dynamic group consisting of two specialized teams Wireless Commissions & Wireless Appeals. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the Appeals and Commissions process, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of compensation for our sales partners.

This role interacts with internal and external customers to address payment inquiries, escalation requests, and general questions across multiple business units at Echostar, with a focus on our Wireless retailers. You will have the ability to identify and implement innovative strategies, support key sales initiatives, and drive process improvements by interacting with stakeholders across all levels of the enterprise. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your understanding of Echostar business rules, intranet resources, and front-end tools (e.g., CApp, epay, B2B) to research and resolve payment inquiries, escalation requests, and other questions from internal teams and external retail partners
  • Navigate and analyze data within Tableau dashboards and other reports to manage business changes, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to address issues and improve existing processes
  • Utilize SQL to query databases for research and analysis; you must be able to review, understand, and write basic queries using SELECT, FROM, WHERE, and JOIN clauses to validate data
  • Attend, support, and lead project meetings, providing valuable insights and feedback. Effectively summarize action items and follow up on complex topics with your team and manager
  • Proactively identify and help implement innovative strategies and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly activities required to meet compliance standards and support the commission calculation schedule
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism while collaborating closely with business partners, clearly communicating expectations and fostering strong working relationships

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, OR 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with coding in SQL
  • Experience with advanced data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, R, or Python
  • Experience using AI

  • Exceptional analytical skills, a talent for solving ambiguous problems, and a proven ability to deliver results in a challenging environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Proficiency with Google Suite or similar office software

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
